Peregrine University

Dear Interested Educator,

We are very excited to announce the opening of Peregrine University by Peregrine Health Management Company. Peregrine University is a community based program which provides retired, as well as active educators, the opportunity to share their gifts and talents with the treasures that are the residents of our Communities.

We are presently in the midst of our annual Peregrine University faculty recruiting initiative and would like to extend to you an invitation to participate. Our program is designed to bring together a primarily volunteer faculty who are willing to share their special interests with seniors, their families and friends from both within and outside of our community. The curriculum is based on a four (4) week term, with a weekly 30 minute presentation on the designated subject for that term. All the presentations for a term may be given by a single presenter, or shared with others depending on availability and desire.

The curriculum will be developed with input from our faculty and residents and coordinated by the  Dean of Academic Affairs at the Community. The expectation is that our thought provoking curriculum will cover a wide range of interests. Some of the topics include art appreciation, biblical history, musical memories and history of the 1900s.

To qualify as a member of the Peregrine University faculty all you need is a desire to connect with some of our society’s most valuable resources, our seniors. We have no doubt that this connection will provide everyone involved an opportunity for growth richer than any Ivy League tuition could cover.

If you have a desire to share your gifts, even if for just one evening, consider joining our faculty and discover what the Peregrine University experience can give back to you.

For more information, call Lou, our Dean of Faculty, at 315-476-5610, ext. 0.

If you know of someone who may be interested in this opportunity, please forward this information to that individual.

Sincerely,

Provost
